Chris,

There seems to be a lot of love these days between Cisco and EMC, I saw someone mention on Twitter that Chuck had guest blogged for Cisco recently. In fact sometimes I feel like Im intruding or shouldnt be looking - the love between the two is sometimes that in your face. BUT...... I dont blame them, I think they both see huge opportunities both on the technology and growth fronts and are genuinely excited. I kind of am too. Damn do I wish that HDS were a bit more like EMC from time to time!!!!

As for incremental changes. I think thats the way it has to be. Love them or hate them, EMC are a trusted name in the business and they are not about to put that on the line with huge and risky changes.

PS. I also occasionally wonder if HDS try to keep some of their new functionality and features a secret. I try and keep my finger somewhat on the pulse with HDS kit and find myself hearing things from other people quite regularly and Im like - how did I miss that?!?!?

Anyhows, its raining here in England so enjoy yourself ;-)
